The Werbekongress is a unique event for young talents in advertising and communication business in Germany. Since 1991 the three-day-event is annually held in Berlin, Germany, and is organized by a team of students curate by the Berliner KommunikationsFORUM.

The activities include a three-day workshop for students, working for industry clients with agency supervision, as well as a closing gala.

Workshop

At this unique three day recruiting event, teams of 7 selected students, young professionals and high potentials work on a case study of industrial clients, supervised by renowned creatives. The workshops are interdisciplinary, open, and a platform for the latest trends and developments in the creative scene.
The workshops combine a variety of creative industries, identify future problems of communication and offer new solutions. With this we can simulate the consumer perspective towards everyday products.

Conference

As a unique platform for young talents of the creative industries, the Werbekongress offers a program with a comprehensive range of innovative perspectives. The Congress, as a think tank for ideas and a catalyst for cooperation, is all about innovation and innovating in the creative industries.

The Conference offers creative movers and shakers, young talents and their partners, a package consisting of knowledge, inspiration and networking. Overreaching sector concerns, which are relevant to the creative industries as a whole, are explored in a huge variety of different formats. new business models and strategies in hindsight of the digital age, future communication, creative tools and interfaces, sustainability, and how to deal productively with failure.

The sessions, featuring experts from various sectors, and range from panels, discussions, talks and presentations, to specialized in-depth workshops and interactive network formats provide the right context for every target group and the perfect starting point for every objective.

Showroom

At the exhibition, we establish a showroom where partners and participants have the opportunity to stage their ideas and information individually and prove their creative power. In a unique environment, the exhibition brings together first movers and important players in the creative industries and offers the opportunity for real social networking. As a public exhibition, the showroom is open for three days to interested young talents, young professionals and representatives from politics and business.

Exhibitors from all sectors of the industries, innovative people from various industries, recruitment agencies and relevant educational institutions contact a demanding and critical audience. Thus, Showroom is the biggest market place for the next generation of Creative Industries in Germany.

Applicationslounge

The application lounge allows discussions between experts and young talents in a relaxed atmosphere. As an established platform for the next generation, the Werbekongres provides this exclusive lounge offering attendees the opportunity to meet for job interviews in a stress free environment. Here, expertise and creativity combine in a unique way. The Showroom makes way for the next generation of Creative Industries in Germany.

Closing Event / Gala

After the presentation of works created in Camp and Conference, the final event is a Gala. After the closing keynote, the Gala facilitates concluding thoughts and words, as well as a wrap-up of the past several days. At the ceremony, opened by the final keynote, the best results of the Camp receive the Young Talent Awards in various categories. This award honors students of communication studies and young professionals in the first years of their careers. The creative directors of the creative agencies in Germany make nominations for the awards.

Interlocking parts of the event

All three event parts - Camp, Conference and Showroom - will take place at the same time between the opening and the closing keynote. At the concluding event, summaries and résumés will sum up the three parts of the event within the formal gala.
